The Macedonian Library Association (MLA) is a civil organization with the main objective - the developemnet of the librarianship, acting towards education, promotion and protection of the profession librarian, practicing international cooperation with other librarian assosiations and organizations.

Furthermore, its goals include affirmation of Macedonian librarianship and promotion of the publishing production and culture. in general.

Its members are the librarians and libraries, together with other indivudual and collective members.
